This rare beast was years ahead of its' time, offering timekeeping, barometric depth gauge and temperature in a single package. When compared to vintage Frogman models of the same era, the Seiko strikes us as particularly good value, being of superior quality and including a considerably greater number of features. Now it presents as a great value proposition for the discerning collector who values rarity and legitimate horological interest in their less expensive pieces. Like the S800’s, these M795’s were available in the Japanese Domestic Market and as such are a very rare sight in Western collector circles.

Some wear and tear can be seen across the watch, as you would expect for a piece that was likely used for its’ intended purpose. Gasket replacement service can be arranged at extra cost if some water resistance is required.
